National Sales Executive

Job Summary: The National Sales Executive role ensures daily revenue goals are being meet.  This position calls prospects using a consultative approach introducing businesses to Universal products and services.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily activity goals
  • Achieve monthly bookings and revenue goals
  • Follow up with prospect and customer inquiries
  • Maintains proficiency with Salesforce CRM, reporting data, using Salesforce to optimize prospecting and accurately updating opportunities with current statuses within the sales cycle
  • Drives revenue generation for Universal
  • Identifies prospect needs, understand business drivers behind requests
  • Value-based Advisor
  • Creates presentations and follow up calls in closing deals
  • Understands lead qualification and works to develop process and accuracy
  • Executes in short-term sprints while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Makes 50 plus prospecting calls and emails per day
  • Maintains at least two hours of call time per day
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1+ years outbound sales sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to gain confidence and build rapport with all team members as well as prospects
  • Excellent time and organizational management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong yet non-confrontational negotiating skills
  • Computer skills to include SalesForce, Excel, Word, and PPT. Keyboarding skills of 50+ wpm (proven)
  • Strong phone selling skills that include appointment setting, presenting and closing
  • B2B consultative sales experience
  • Experience selling to HR decision makers and/or within the technology/background industry

 Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1+ years outbound sales sales experience
