Billing, Commissions, and Revenue Analyst-

Universal Background Screening is a leading provider of background screening solutions including a comprehensive selection of employment background checks and verifications, employee drug testing, employment physicals, and compliance management services. For more than thirty years, Universal experts have consulted with clients to implement compliant background screening programs tailored to their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews financial results by comparing and analyzing actuals with plan
  • Calculate monthly and quarterly salesperson commissions
  • Provide analysis of trends of COGS and Gross Margins on a monthly basis and recommend actions for optimization
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Assist with calculating and posting fees and other billing adjustments to customer invoices
  • Increase productivity of staff by developing automated accounting processes
  • Review costs to ensure accuracy from vendor
  • Review and report pricing issues
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query / data management tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Must be willing to work on projects as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting/Finance/Economics; Masters/MBA a plus.

The Billing, Commissions, and Revenue Analyst position is full time and located in our Scottsdale Office. We are looking to fill our available position as soon as possible.
